Tips for Having a Memorable Proposal

November 16, 2018 by Ian Leave a Comment

When you ask for her hand in marriage, you want it to be something to remember forever. A proposal is not only for you to make her say yes, but more about you, trying to commit yourself to her. Getting married is a lifetime commitment, and it is not a simple decision for you to kneel and ask her to say yes. These tips will make the proposal memorable for both of you, and the people you love.

Invite important people

You want this occasion to be with the people who matter most to you and her. They need to be there to show that you are sincere in your proposal. You might worry that she won’t say yes, but it does not matter. Whether she accepts it or not, the point is that you already showed everyone that you want her, and you are sincere about it, otherwise, you wouldn’t have had the courage to invite them.

Go back to a special place

If you can find the place where you first met, or any other place that is memorable for you, take her there. She will feel more special if you take the extra step of taking her to that place. You can go to another site for the engagement party, but the proposal can happen in that lovely place.

Ask during an unexpected moment

Asking her out to dinner might give her a clue that you intend to propose. You don’t want to spoil it if you propose this way. You can pop the question when she least expects it. You can organise a more special engagement party, but you don’t need a special place to ask the question. As long as you have the ring, and you are sure that you want to marry her, it does not matter where you ask the question. If she loves you, she will say yes, regardless.

Get to know her

If you still have no idea how to pop the question to her, there might be a problem with your relationship. You don’t genuinely know her if you are confused about where and when to ask. If you are sure that you will spend the rest of your life with her, you will know what makes sense. You won’t arrange a mob dance or propose in public if you know that’s not her personality. You will also not give her an engagement ring with a massive stone if you know she is not a flashy person. Things will easily fall into place if you know her well.

Buy the right engagement ring

If you want to choose a unique engagement ring, find the best fingerprint rings UK jewellers sell. You can have your fingerprint on the jewellery. This piece will remind her that you are not only asking for her hand in marriage, but you are also giving yours. You want to commit to her, and this is the best way for you to show her that you are sincere.

With these tips for making the proposal memorable, even decades from now, both of you will cherish the moment.
