Three Ways to Launch Your Bag Brand

October 30, 2019 by Ian Leave a Comment

Launching a new product is a way of informing your customers and the public of your business. Your brand cements your presence as a market force and helps your customers embrace and identify with your product. You need to identify your customer base by the demographics of age, social status or even population before you can best design and eventually launch your bag brand. Your launch should coincide with an event, an activity you’ve organized, or an exposition that will bring your target customers together in one place. The following are the three stages needed to launch your bag brand:

Research

Research should cover a broad area, especially your product line to be able to understand the dynamics of the market. You need to understand your competitors’ products and how they perform in the market place. Do a SWOT analysis to identify your Strengths, Weaknesses and Opportunities and any possible Threats to your bag brand vis-à-vis those of your competitors and the market at large. Your research should identify your target market—who you are selling the bags to. This will also help you make informed decisions regarding the design, the slogan and general aesthetics of the bag. Once you’ve done your research and come up with your product, you need to market your product.

Marketing before Launch

Marketing your bag brand will create a buzz and excite your target market into learning about and buying your product on launch. Get people to try it by feeling and seeing your bag product. You can come up with sample giveaways or gift hampers placed in your bags. You also need to write something about the bags, promoting the uniqueness of the bags and possibly efficiency of use. As part of your marketing strategy, launching a website will give your product a wider audience and potential business on the Internet. Take out advertisements in local dailies or blogs to create the necessary customer enthusiasm and reach a wider customer audience. Use cultural influencers who normally appeal to a wider audience and can influence the reception of your brand. This is visibly illustrated in rocketbags.co.uk

Launch Your Product

Bringing your product in front of your customers and potential markets is the final step into a successful launch. Devise a rolling launch strategy, where you create a buzz about your product weeks before the actual launch. Create leaks to news and blog journalists preparing them for what to expect. This in turn creates an atmosphere of interest and intrigue. Then you should hold a launch by inviting key influencers including journalists and bloggers. Give out free samples and make the launch a memorable one. This could give people more reasons to attend the launch and even buy your product. Apart from organizing a big convention or trade fare, try out less conventional venues such as restaurants or mall entrances and hallways. The traffic and influx of people will also play a role in creating a market for your product.

Conclusion

A product launch is not easy but when you do it, make sure it is both interesting and informative to your target audience. Create the necessary buzz and noise to establish your bag brand in the market place.
