If you have an immediate need to make some money and getting it tomorrow or the next month is not an option, it’s not an easy challenge. However, even in this case there are a few obvious and not so obvious options for you.
1. Do what you know
What qualifications do you have? Can you write? Can you code? Can you translate? If that’s the case, you could head over to some portals which offer projects for freelancers. While it might not be so easy to land a project, or get paid that fast, it’s definitely not impossible. If you’ve got skills in any part of the construction business, they might need temps as well. Additionally, there are sites around where businesses are looking for temp workers immediately – someone to help with manual labor in shops, someone to help out in a warehouse or whatever else similar. The main thing, there are options.
2. Do something with your car
If you have a driver license and a car, there are couple of different ways to get started. Everyone has heard about taxi apps like Uber or Bolt, and alikes, where you can sign up and start driving a taxi. Getting your license might of course take a day or more, so it might not be the fastest way to make money, but it’s definitely an option. Or if you don’t want to drive, you could also rent out your car through some other sites.
3. Do something you love
If there’s something you do as a hobby, there might be ways to turn your hobby into a quick money making machine. For example, if you ‘re a hardcore sports fan and know everything about a specific sport, utilize your knowledge and bet on soccer or some other sports, depending on what you’re into. You can bet today and you can cash out today (should your bet be the right one, that is).
4. Do some deliveries
Various food (among other things) delivery companies are always looking for extra manpower – why not contact them and see if they need someone today.
5. Do something with your house
If you have a house or a flat with a spare room you don’t use, why not list it on Airbnb or some other similar site. You might not get anyone to stay in your place today, but then again, you might.
6. Sell stuff you don’t need
We all have stuff that we don’t need. I don’t own pretty much anything, yet even I have a number of items put away somewhere that are waiting for someone to do something with them. Like and old guitar, an office table, and old computer, a few usable flat screens, old laptop for spare parts, maybe an old bike, maybe some books or clothes someone might want. While obviously you wont make millions from selling these things – it’s can be all good extra money for you. Just list them on ebay or better yet some local online marketplace or Facebook group.
There are ways you can make money today, if you really need it. You just need to be creative.
