Outdoor timber screening ideas that can uplift your house

October 25, 2019 by Ian Leave a Comment

People often tend to see timber fencing as a luxurious option for their houses. Although some would definitely require some oiling on regular basis in order to operate in the best manner possible; others can survive without it too. Timber screening can be used for multiple purposes including, having security, private patio setups and simply for fencing too. People love to spend some private time with their family and close acquaintances. Not only can timber screening provide you sufficient privacy, but it also gives you house a new outlook.

Translucent panels

Often people wish to block the view of the neighbors to ensure some privacy for their family. However, while aiming for this, they often tend to block the natural light into their house. The best way to get rid of this issue is by opting for the translucent panels. People can always look forward to installing frosted glasses that can limit the visibility of the viewer but let the light pass through. It is the perfect way to let the natural sunlight bless your house.

Plant hedges

Hedges are one of the best possible ways through which one can maintain privacy in their homes. It is solely up to you if you wish to install a solid full fledged hedge that ensures ultimate privacy or a lighter one. If you wish to go for full privacy, make sure you go for a denser option that have rapid growth and are evergreen. Cherry Laurel or the Arborvitae can be two good options. However, in case you want to choose the latter one, opt for a lighter and less dense option like the Fern Pine. The less dense option will let the light pass through the hedges.

Freestanding walls

Image result for timber screening ideas Freestanding walls are one of the cheap, yet effective way to cover up the house. You can opt for wooden panels or go for steel to give your house a new appearance from the outside while maintaining the privacy. The best part about these walls is that you can always play around with their sizes and choose the one which suits your purpose. You can opt for a freestanding wall to cover up your car inside the place or go for a larger wall to cover up all the area inside, your choice!

Windowed views

A very good option that people can opt for is windowed views. Usually people look forward to wooden fences which achieve the objective of providing decent privacy but block the natural light. This causes the outside area to be of no use once the sun starts to fade away. In contrast, people can always opt for a fence constructed of recycled wooden block. A good way to decorate is by using multi colored blocks. The irregular position of the wooden blocks will ensure the natural light incoming to the place.

These are some of the ways that people can apply to screen their places. For much more advanced styling methods and information about composite timber screening, you can always visit our website.
